Frequently Asked Questions
-
Can I get all of the photos?
No, Behind BluEyes Photography does not provide RAW or unedited photos.
Additional professional digital edits are available for $10 per photo or bulk discounts can be applied. Behind BluEyes Photography is selling more than just images, we are selling an art, and RAW’s do not showcase the quality or standard of our work. As a photographer, I aim to achieve a cohesive style, which is an important part of my artistic vision. -
Why does editing take so long?
Behind BluEyes Photography never uses presets or batch edits your gallery. We personally select every image and spend a considerable amount of time correcting imperfections, brightening shadows and enhancing colors.
-
Can I put filters on the photos?
No, pictures can not be altered in anyway, but I will include complimentary Black & White edits. Please do not crop, add filters or take into photoshop.
-
Can I pick which photos you edit?
YES! Within 48 hours of your session, you'll receive a preview gallery where you can view all the images and select your favorites for professional editing. This ensures you're getting the moments that matter most to you, just the way you want them.
-
Can I print my photos?
I will provide a Print Release in our Contract giving you access to Unlimited Printing Rights. I highly recommend printing your images with SmallWoodsHome.com, they typically have great discounts and offers for bulk orders. I do not offer printing options at this time.

Are the Highland Cows real?
As real as rain.
Yes, the Highland cows you see in my photos are 100% real—and full of personality. I work closely with a local fold that gives us access to over 25 Highlands, ranging from shaggy little calves to majestic full-grown bulls and mamas. Each one has their own quirks and charm, and many of them are trained to interact gently during sessions. If you’re dreaming of cuddles, snuggles, and unforgettable cow-kisses, you’re in the right place. -
Can children come down to the farm?
Absolutely—kids are welcome! But there are a few important things to keep in mind. Highland cows are gentle by nature, but they are still large animals, and that can be overwhelming for little ones—especially if they’ve never been around livestock before.
If your child is easily frightened or unsure, I’ll do everything I can to make them feel comfortable, but safety always comes first.
Please avoid surprising your child with the experience. I strongly recommend talking with them beforehand and even visiting or observing large animals prior to your session, so they know what to expect.
Newborns and very young babies are not ideal for farm sessions due to the fast-paced and unpredictable nature of working with animals. We work on cow time, and that means lots of moving parts and quick pivots to keep up with our fluffy co-stars.
-
What if my child is scared of the cows?
It’s totally normal to feel a little nervous around large animals—these Highland cows are gentle, but their size can be overwhelming for some. If fear becomes too much, we can always shift gears and head out to the open field for the rest of your session instead. It’s a beautiful alternative, and I’ll still capture meaningful moments you’ll love.
However, please note that pricing will remain the same, even if we step away from the cows. If you'd prefer to stop the session altogether and reschedule, a $150 rescheduling fee will apply, and any farm access fees already paid will be forfeited—especially if we've already begun the session at the farm. For everyone's comfort and confidence, I strongly encourage prepping your family beforehand so they know what to expect.

Where are the Highland Cows?
Our Highland cow sessions take place on a private farm in Spanish Fork, Utah County. The exact location will be shared after booking to protect the privacy of the landowners and ensure a peaceful experience for both our guests and the herd. It’s a beautiful little slice of country—perfect for those rustic, one-of-a-kind moments with our fluffy friends.
